Knowledge Pulse® opens up new ways of teaching in medicine
For several years Austrian doctors have the chance to obtain their training not by expensive congresses, but easily and comfortable at their workplace or at home on their personal laptop, supported by KnowledgePulse® that coaches the individual learning steps.
The basic principle “change acting – not aggregate knowledge” brings to the point the requirements for practice-relevant didactics in patient-education as well as in. continuing medical education. This principle also underlies the technology of KnowledgePulse®.
"In particular physicians see themselves confronted with a widening gap between too little time and too much knowledge," said Dr. Christian Maté, medical director of NetDoktor.at.

Knowledge Pulse® instead of examination
Experts for medical Knowledge Management calculated that one doctor has to face 30 kg of new guidelines. Each day 8000 new scientific articles are published, in 95% this publications will no lead a reliably orientation for daily work.
We developed KnowledgePulse® and created a special product called "CMEASY" - Continued Medical Education made Easy. We cooperate with the Austrian Society for Pneumology and also NetDoktor.at to implement innovative training programs for doctors.
Starting from the principles "practice-relevance", "actuality" and "evidence" (level of research results) small learning modules are delivered via PC and mobile devices.
The main benefit in comparison to current e-Learning solutions: the learning process is integrated in the doctor's daily life running time-saving and practical. Because of the automatic documentation of the completed course units, KnowledgePulse® provides the basis for the automatic certification on CME.
