01.04.2010 - Mobile MicroLearning® with MicroCode – Symbian cell phones dig the KnowledgePulse®Symbian is the most widely used operating system for Smart Phones. From September onwards, the KnowledgePulse® will also be available for Symbian cell phones. Symbian users will thus also be able to learn a lot step by step: the KnowledgePulse® enables sustainable and effective learning in a user-friendly and easy manner. The newest KnowledgePulse® version is currently being developed at Research Studio MicroLearning & Information Environments
(MINE). A team of researchers headed by Manuela Vogler and Peter Halbmayer is turning a Qt-based version into a marketable cross-platform product. Via Symbian, the KnowledgePulse® will run on the latest touchscreen mobile phones, e.g. Nokia, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Sony Ericsson
and Sharp models. Coporate clients will be able to brand the KnowledgePulse® according to their needs, e.g. to strengthen their brand presence or for sponsoring purposes.
